What's new? Look around, just about everything. Welcome to the New and Improved On That Note! Now that I live in Austin, the Live Music Capital of the World, I have lots of bands to show you and tell you about. I am still making some changes, with official release scheduled for January 1, 2001, but have a look around. I've added improved graphics and navigation and lots more photos and video. Plus, I'm going to stick to a shorter, more concise review format. No need to bore everyone with the play-by-play.
If you need information, there's an extensive Austin venues list as well as some interesting music links.
There's also an improved Guest Reviewer section. If you go to a show, all you have to do is fill out a quick and easy form and suddenly you are a music critic, too. Just click on the Guest Reviews button above. And, if you just have general comments, use the Discuss section.
If you were a fan of the old On That Note, you can still find the earlier reviews in the Archives section.
And take a moment to join the Mailing List. I'll be sending out updates and information about live music in the Austin vicinity.
