Sights and Sounds
South by Southwest is the annual music festival that invades Austin with over 1000 bands at 50 venues. The music is diverse, from loud and obnoxious, to funky, to quiet and introspective, to something you've never heard before. It's a great time to catch up-and-coming bands as well as established, major label acts. With daytime shows, instore performances and late-night parties, there's really too much for any one person to take in. Here are some sights and sounds from the shows that I saw.
